  • Water
  • Paper towels
  • Colored markers (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet)

  • Fill your glasses 3/4 full with water
  • Color the ends of the paper towels like a rainbow
  • Place the colored ends of the paper towels into each glass, forming a bridge

TADA ! After 3-4 minutes, the colors will have merged, isn’t it beautiful ? 🤩

Volcanic eruption! 🌋😱

First, you’ll need to create your own volcano ! Do some research to make an awesome paper mâché or flour-and-coffee-grounds volcano ! We’ll show you how to make it erupt ! 🔥

🧰 Materials needed :

  • Empty plastic bottle (to place inside the volcano)
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Dish soap (optional)
  • Your homemade volcano !

🧑‍🏫 Instructions :

  • Pour about 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the bottle
  • Add a few drops of food coloring and some dish soap (optional) for a more realistic lava effect
  • Slowly pour vinegar into the bottle
  • Step back and watch the chemical reaction create an impressive volcanic eruption !

  • Gently shake the balloon and watch it inflate due to the chemical reaction between the vinegar and baking soda !

Explicación Al aplastar el globo el bicarbonato con el vinagre que se encuentren dentro se unirán produciendo una Reacción ácido-base, la cual produce gas CO2 o dióxido de carbono, y este gas infla el globo.
